Easy Pumpkin Mousse Filling

We are deep in the middle of pumpkin spice latte season, and you will most likely be asked to create some pumpkin-flavored treats. This easy pumpkin mousse is perfect for all your fall events. It can be used in chocolate cups, whoopie pies, cupcakes, pies, and, of course, as a filling and topping for your cakes. You can change its flavor profile but just adding a few creative ingredients, like coffee or chai tea.
Ingredients
2 cups Flavor Right Whip’n Top
1 cup canned pumpkin
½ cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
¼ cup maple syrup
4 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a chilled bowl, whip the Flavor Right Whip’n Top according to the container’s directions.
- In a separate bowl, combine the canned pumpkin, dark brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Mix together until well combined.
- Fold the pumpkin mixture into the Whip’n Top until combined. Now it’s ready to use!
Tip: Use a small amount of caramel for extra yumminess between the layers and, of course, as a drizzle on top!
