Award-winning sugar artist, Eliana Morales, shows us some unique ways to make floral applications with a simple cutter set from the James Rosselle Product line.

Components:
- -Yellow & blue Gel Color
- -Fondarafic Gumpaste
- -Fondarafic Fondant -Veiner
- -Stainless steel Rose Petal Cutter from James Rosselle
- -Silicone Rose Petal Veiner from James Rosselle
- -Foam Pad
- -Ball Tool
- -Water or piping gel
- -Small brush
- -Rolling pin
- -Exacto
- -Plastic spoons (egg or apple paper trays)
Roll out blue gum paste and cut a total of 8 petals for one flower.
Following the picture
- Step 1: Separate two petals.
- Step 2: Fold in half only one of the petals.
- Step 3: Overlap ( sandwich it ) and glue one half.
- Step 4: Proceed to thin the 3 edges of your petal.
- Step 5: Let it dry on a flat surface ( attach it on the cake with royal icing ) or place it (using piping gel) right after on the cake for a better fit. Finished with a gum paste round ball.
Roll out green gum paste and cut a total of 5 petals for one flower.
Following the picture
- Step 1: Cut one petal
- Step 2: Trim each side
- Step 3: Thin the 3 edges of your petal.
- Step 4: Let it dry on the top of a plastic spoon. Finished with a gum paste round ball.
- Attach 5 dried petals to the cake using royal icing.
Roll out white gum paste and cut a total of 5 petals for one flower.

- Step 1: Cut the petals
- Step 2: using the small-sized rose cutter, cut a V top shape
- Step 3: Thin the petal edges and press the paste between both sides of the veiner.
- Step 4: Let it dry on the top of a plastic spoon. Finished with a gum paste round ball. Attach 5 dried petals to the cake using royal icing.
