Did you know that you can dye Easter eggs with food coloring gel? It’s true! Don’t bother heading to the store to grab an egg dyeing kit, because it’s easy to do it at home with what you have on hand.

How to Dye Easter Eggs with Gel Food Color

  1. Add 1 teaspoon food coloring to 1 cup boiling water. Still until dissolved.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon vinegar. (Note: Do not add vinegar to pink, fuchsia, purple, and royal blue from the Ann Clark brand.)
  3. Add boiled egg. Soak for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove egg, dry on paper towel or rack.
