Hervey Evans is an independent consultant and owner with Erazmus Inc. He specializes in developing and implementing growth strategies for publishing companies and has over 25 years of publishing and consulting experience. While General Manager of Cricket Magazine, he launched Ladybug Magazine. Clients include Science & Spirit, The Tracking Way, Sunday/ Monday Woman, Adoptive Families Magazine, Chemical Pilot Magazine, FenderBender, Experience Life Magazine, Roadside, and Poetry, among others.
Hervey is a graduate of Duke University with degrees in English and Economics and holds an M.B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has been member of the Minnesota publishing community for many years, serving on the board of the Minnesota Magazine and Publications Association (MMPA) and was recognized with the Greg Carey Leadership Award in 2009.
Hervey is an avid outdoorsman and has served as the Chairman of the Board of Voyageur Outward Bound School in Minnesota. He is a Life Trustee of Voyageur Outward Bound School in Minnesota and serves on the board of the Baltimore Chesapeake Bay Outward Bound School. He lives in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife and dog and hikes and canoes whenever he can.
